Elizabethan Riding Jacket- Burgundy and Cream Brocade
Handmade in Independence, Iowa, our Elizabethan Riding Jackets are crafted with meticulous attention to detail. This jacket features front and side lacing secured by durable, professional-grade grommets. Made from a beautiful combination of burgundy and cream brocade upholstery fabric, it includes a cream solid chenille collar that also serves as the reversible side of the jacket. The design incorporates multiple pieces of 1/2-inch wide steel boning for strong support.
The jacket is styled here with a cream short ruffled sleeve chemise, cream ruffled bloomers, and a sand taffeta self-bustling overskirt (not included).
**Sizing Note:** To determine your jacket size, measure the smallest part of your waist (usually around your belly button) and subtract 4 to 6 inches from that measurement.
These are adapted from our classic bodice pattern and fit like a classic bodice.
