Ruffled Adjustable Hem Chemise - Midi / Tea Length- Ruffled Short Sleeve

Handcrafted in Independence, Iowa, our signature chemises are made from 100% cotton fabric. The latest design elevates our Tea Length Chemise with a deep ruffle at the hem and ribbons that lift the front, offering a variety of styling options.

The neck, waistband, and cuffs feature adjustable elastic, while the short sleeves have a lovely puff above the cuff and a ruffle below. The neckline can be worn on or off the shoulders, and we have intentionally left a small gap in the stitching of the elastic casings to allow for tightening if needed.

This chemise serves as an excellent base layer for Renaissance, Steampunk, Regency, or other historical costumes. It is typically worn under a corset to protect your skin, keep you cool on hot days, and help maintain the cleanliness of your corset. We always recommend using breathable cotton as a base layer for warm festivals.

All seams are finished with serging. The midi calf-length chemise features a full-bodied, flared A-line shape and is adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes.
