Cottage Bodice - Black and Gold Paisley
Introducing the Cottage Bodice, handmade in Independence, Iowa.
Inspired by the cottage-core style, this bodice is based on 18th-century stays, shortened and updated for an adorable cottage-core look. This bodice can be worn with a frilly skirt or one of our tea-length chemises to complete your cottage-core look. Each piece is meticulously crafted in a beautiful black and gold paisley upholstery fabric, lined with solid black twill upholstery cotton.
As always, our Cottage bodices are reversible, providing versatile styling options.
The front, back, and straps are all laced with professional-grade grommets, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. For added support, multiple pieces of half-inch-wide steel boning are incorporated into the bodice.
For the best fit, your waist should be 4 to 6 inches larger than the listed size.
Our Model: Anne is wearing a size 26 bodice. Her measurements are Bust 38, Waist 27, with an average torso length. Anne has a rock-hard body with no squish.
This bodice was photographed with a spice colored ruffled tea-length chemise and a black linen blend over skirt. These items are not included.
