Elizabethan Riding Jacket and Matching Bustling Skirt- Blue and Cream Damask Brocade
Proudly handmade in Independence, Iowa, this Elizabethan Riding Jacket and bustling skirt set is a one-of-a-kind item. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The jacket features front and side lacing secured by durable, professional-grade grommets. Made from Blue and Cream Damask Upholstery Brocade fabric, it includes a cream upholstery cotton collar that also serves as the reversible side of the jacket. You can style it with either the damask side or the solid cream side out. The jacket incorporates 1/2 inch wide steel boning for strong support.
The matching damask brocade bustling skirt is fully lined with cream taffeta with a band of brown dupioni at the hem. Five rows of loops and ribbons give full adjustability to the bustles, allowing for many styling options. This full skirt is box pleated into a drawstring adjustable waistband that also features grommets that line up with the side lacing points on the jacket so the two can be attached and worn as a gown. The slightly curved hem is 37 inches in the front, curving to 41 inches in the back.
It is styled with a white short-sleeve chemise and a Truffle cotton pocket skirt ( these items are not included).
